U2's new CD

I've been listen to U2's new a fair bit lately.
I remember writing U2 graffiti on my school desk in the eighties - you know the white flag background.
I kinda lost interest after The Unforgettable Fire. In my opininion still their best - but this is without doubt their best work since then.
I amazed that ol' Paul can write lyrics using imagery, euphermisms and analogies that are so universal they can mean different things to different people. With that in mind I think its a waste of time to try and analyse them too closely and just enjoy them for the colour and freshness they bring to each of us in our own way.
